When I started building my first project using flutter, I felt like I am spending a lot of time coding and making little progress towards completing the app and I am not a super amazing top coder as well. This made me feel a bit frustrated.

I used to try out many different things to solve a challenge while building. I would feel lost when stuff doesn’t work out, it was hard for me to know why it didn’t work out. I decided to do something about it.

I started writing down what I did during that time period, What are the solutions that I tried out. Did this for some time and I learned why it takes time, what activities take time and where I spent my time...

Writing down stuff helped me understand how far I’ve progressed towards solving the challenge and helped me create models to help me better approach a challenge and solve it faster.

To keep building I had to learn more and try that out, I sucked the first time when I used it in my project, and got better at understanding how the concept works, and better the next time, all because of writing.

I used to write at the end of every secession. Further improved this process by writing down the stuff that I wanted to do the next day.

So, writing down stuff works for me, maybe you try that out for yourself and see if it works. Lets’s talk.

By the way, check out my first product — https://bit.ly/eleven_app Built with flutter.
